Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling)

What Is Collagen induction therapy?

Collagen Induction Therapy, commonly referred to as microneedling, is a regenerative skin treatment designed to support the body’s natural repair processes. By creating controlled micro-channels in the skin, this therapy encourages collagen production and supports improvements in skin texture, tone, and overall skin health over time.

This approach focuses on regeneration rather than surface correction and is well suited for individuals seeking visible change without injectables, aggressive lasers, or extended downtime.

Who This Treatment Is For

Collagen Induction Therapy may be appropriate for individuals looking to:

  • Improve skin texture and resilience

  • Address fine lines or uneven skin tone

  • Support skin repair following inflammation or congestion

  • Take a gradual, regenerative approach to skin health

Treatment suitability is determined by skin condition, health history, and recovery capacity.

Treatment Approach

Collagen Induction Therapy sessions are designed as layered, regenerative treatments rather than single-step procedures. Each session is individualized based on skin health, goals, and the skin’s ability to recover.

Treatments typically involve a combination of microneedling followed by nanoneedling. Microneedling supports collagen induction through controlled depth, while nanoneedling focuses on superficial infusion and skin refinement, allowing for both regenerative stimulation and surface-level support within the same session, when appropriate.

High molecular weight hyaluronic acid is used during treatment to support hydration and barrier function. This form is selected for its compatibility with healing skin and its role in maintaining moisture balance rather than cosmetic plumping.

In select cases, plant-derived stem cell serums, such as apple stem cells, may be incorporated based on skin needs or patient preference. These are used selectively and are not required for every treatment.

LED light therapy may be incorporated prior to microneedling to support skin readiness and calm inflammation. Red, blue, yellow, or a combination of wavelengths may be used depending on skin presentation, with the goal of supporting tissue balance and optimizing the skin’s response to treatment.

Treatment Series

Collagen Induction Therapy is most effective when performed as a series of treatments rather than a single session. Treatment plans are individualized, with sessions typically spaced several weeks apart to allow the skin adequate time to respond and recover.

Preparation & Suitability

Advance preparation is required prior to microneedling, and treatment suitability is determined on an individual basis. Certain skin conditions, medications, and health histories may require postponement or alternative care. Full preparation guidelines, contraindications, and safety information are provided at the time of booking.
